Born in Houston, TX. Graduated from Clear Lake HS. Served 16 yrs as a Houston Firefighter. Moved to Ft. Collins in 1991, and graduated in 1998 with a PhD in Zoology (concentration in Genetics and Ecology). Taught at Colorado Mesa University 17 years. Began American Bison Ins in 2017 to continue helping and educating people. Married with 2 children and 5 grandchildren. In my spare time I enjoy hunting and fishing.
